Welcome to the NJ – NY Fraternal Alliance

Our mission and purpose
The purpose of the Alliance shall be to unite men and women who are associated with a fraternal benefit society; to promote the development and growth of the fraternal benefit system; to work in harmony with the American Fraternal Alliance for the welfare of the fraternal benefit system; to defeat any act or movement which is contrary to the best interests of the fraternal benefit system; to create a better understanding of the fraternal benefit system; to exchange ideas for the common good of its members; and to do all other things incidental to and consistent with the mission stated above.

President’s Message

It is an honor and privilege to serve as the president of the NJ-NY Fraternal Alliance for this term. It has been wonderful to see the steps that this organization in conjunction with the American Fraternal Alliance takes each year to ensure that fraternalism stays relevant and strong in New Jersey and New York. I know that we will continue to make great strides throughout the coming year and I am excited to be working with a team of experienced officers and board members to meet our goals and objectives. I sincerely appreciate the support received from all of our member organizations and look forward to a wonderful year!

Youth Volunteer Award Program

Each year the NJ-NY FA chooses deserving students from a member society, based on their volunteer achievements with their society as well as the community at large. Award winners each receive a $500 check.

An individual can only receive the award once. The deadline for submitting applications is September 1, 2025, postmark. All completed applications and supporting information are to be mailed to:

Fraternalist of the Year Award Nomination

It is time to submit nominations for the New Jersey/New York Fraternal Alliance Fraternalist of the Year Award for 2025.

Can you answer “Yes” to the following questions?

Do you have a member residing in New Jersey/New York who, through example and accomplishment, provides outstanding volunteer service?
Would you like your member to be honored at the 2025 New Jersey/New York Fraternal Alliance Annual Meeting, scheduled for October 2, 2025.
Would you like your society to be recognized for the outstanding fraternal and volunteer efforts of its members?
